Horses

The horses:

The foundation for today's stud was formed by mares such as Samara, born out of Laland in 1936, and Farce, born in 1943. Many mares and stallions were added over the years. In 2000 the decision was made to only keep and breed our own horses. They reduced it to the “D family” from the Daytona Beach (1984). However, many horses from the former families can still be found in sport.

With the reduced number of animals, every horse can be cared for and bred with higher quality.

It is important to us that every horse in our hands will one day come home or be sold into good hands right from the start.

Every horse is given the time it needs and given a chance. If this is not on the gallop track, other efforts will be made to offer the horse a future.

The well-being of the animal is our top priority.

"A horse loves freedom, and the weariest old work horse will roll on the ground or break into a lumbering gallop when he is turned loose into the open."

- Gerald Rafferty
